JOB SUMMARY:
Reserved for the highly-experienced sales professional who significantly surpassed all skill requirements and consistently exceeds customer expectations. Outstanding product knowledge and recognized authority amongst peers. From customer's perspective, provides strong territory stability. Initiates new sales by seeking additional products and services through knowledge of market. Assists in the training and/or managing of other sales and sales support personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Services existing and prospective accounts in assigned territory in accordance with company's policies and programs.
- To reflect both in personal demeanor and professional integrity the mission/vision of the company to customers.
- Analyzes customer's needs and formulates solutions using all resources made and available by company.
- Aggressively seek new customers by formulating and following planned sales strategies and company marketing programs.
- To be sensitive to the current individual needs of customers and prospects, and to help them attain their goal through the proper utilization of the company's products and services.
- To assist present and prospective customers in adapting company products to their own requirements and specifications.
- Offers service and looks for ways to help the customer do a better job.
- Maintains existing customers
- To understand and administer customer service, in accordance with company policy, in a mutually beneficial manner, to ensure lasting goodwill between the customer and the company.
- Provides information to customers on new and current products, pricing, and general order status.
- To seek new uses and applications for company products with present and prospective customers.
- To maintain and increase sales volume with established accounts and to aggressively seek new customers by implementing planned sales strategies, delivering service and company marketing programs.
- To be alert to competitive products and marketing practices, and to keep management informed concerning them.
- To cooperate and communicate with all personnel in the customer's organization in the execution of programs and policies.
- Keep promises and appointments. Exercises courtesy at all times.
- To assume the obligations of good citizenship and to participate in worthwhile community activities as a public relations asset to the company.
- To comply with all company policies, instructions, and directives for the fulfillment of company objectives and for maximizing profitable sales.
- Operates in a safe manner in accordance with company policy
- To maintain up-to-date customer and territory records.
- To actively participate in the development of territory forecasts.
- Prepare travel itineraries and manage time effectively.
- To authorize return goods and to adjust customer complaints in accordance with company policy .
- Cooperates and assists fellow salespersons, sales managers, marketing personnel, customer service, manufacturing, and other company personnel.
- Enthusiastically participates in company productivity and training programs.
- To recommend new products and the modification or deletion of present product to the line. Assumes leadership role in introduction of new products.
- To attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, self-development programs, conventions, association meetings, and trade shows.
- Provides, as requested, training and evaluation of other sales personnel.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must have the ability to work with others.
- Must have the ability to keep to a schedule.
- Must have regular and reliable attendance.
- Must have the ability to focus on details.
- Computer skills required - Microsoft Office: email, excel, word.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from college or university and/or 5-10 years concrete industry experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals and financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. Write complex documents in a prescribed format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors. Ability to communicate complex ideas and beliefs to top management.
