SUMMARY:
Facilitate/Train/Coordinate "Winning the Game" through training and coaching, being an ambassador and creating positive disciplines. Create relationships, Listen to team members, Support leadership, Forward cultural transformation and make sure procedures are consistent with core values and team concept.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Necessary for the performance of the job; other duties may be assigned.
- Communicating the vision, mission, strategic imperatives and goals throughout the organization and aligning team members with them.
- Building and educating a team of employee-owners through coaching and training.
- Create an open-book management system that shares the numbers with team members at all levels within the organization.
- Empower team members who are closest to the work to make the decisions.
- Continuously measure improvement in how we do things.
- Celebrate successes and sharing a stake in the outcome.
- Teach terminology (i.e., EBITDA, material spread), profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow to team members.
- Understand the key financial and non-financial drivers.
- Keep score and follow the action by tracking, measuring and reporting (scoreboards).
- Emphasize the numbers over which people have control.
- Highlight the categories where you spend the most money by breaking down the categories into controllable elements.
- Facilitate the introduction of the mini-game with enthusiasm.
- Communicates the objectives, strategies and measurement throughout the organization.
- Will be DDI certified and provide DDI training to team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Position requires a minimum of two (2) years business knowledge or related experience; Knowledge of business and financial terms; excellent verbal and written communication skills; Computer literate, Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Word. Candidate should have a working knowledge of financial terms and statements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, financial reports and legal documents as necessary. Ability to write reports; business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of team members. Ability to make presentations before a group or groups of team members.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply moderately complex mathematical equations as applicable.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of financial information.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The ability to operate computer software.
